They're not taking about trophies because they're too busy making achievements up for the 360 version:P knowing my luck this patch will come after i finish the game!

I ain't jealous, haven't given a flying **** about MGS since the GC remake.
jealousy is generally a far different emotion than utter apathy. yeah they'd be great but probably wouldn't be retro-active so you'd need to start a new save file :cry: itd be a joke on there @WHERESMYMONKEY

just let it go. we have the better console. and games. 8) lol Not having a dig at Konami or MGS4 (I have played the game a little and must say its pretty bloody brilliant) but there seems to be a lot of issues.
I dont know if this is down to Sony or Konami but you would think that a flagship title like MGS4 wouldnt be allowed to have these issues, yet it does, strange.
And of course this game could never appear on the 360, isnt that right PS3 owners? The 360 just simply couldnt handle it :oops: ? Sod MGS, what about the trophies that were PROMISED for Pro Evo?
They told CVG they would DEFINATLEY be coming, and nothings happened in 5 months!

I'll be the first to admit that my posts don't generally have a point. They are full of opinion and conjecture. just like the article above and the rest of the nonsense spouted on the web. your no different.
Grasshopper i have come to realise that you are indeed right. the saturn was a great console.
The PS3 and the 360 on the other hand have so little in it that to say one is better than the other is utterly rediculous. it just comes down to personal preference amongst the machines exclusives. 'Issues' in the sense that the online is a bit of a shambles and there the trophy support seems to be lacking. Not what you would expect from a AAA game, again not a dig at anyone in particualr, just a shame they (whoever they are) just let it happen.
And the old changing discs joke, ah the classics grasshopper, you cannae beat them. Your right a 5G install is a lot better than a disc swap, oh the barbarity of it all, swapping discs, sure. wasnt my joke, mate.

And you know for sure that this was directed at the 360 and not a dig at the games own past history of disc swapping, thats what I heard was meant by the 'disc swapping'. I am probably wrong though and Konami were taking a dig at the 360, that makes much more sense when you think about it, have a dig at a potential customer. Thanks for clearing that up for me. No, you're right StoneCold. It was a reference to the series history, but some of the more rabid fanboys refuse to accept it. It doesn't serve their cause you see... it says "were on ps3 system, dual layered blu-ray, no need to swap discs"
but if MGS4 did appear on 360, its omission in itself would be the joke! :o

There's nothing wrong with MGS online, in fact it's great. wtf wtf wtf wtf wtf wtf wtf wtf wtf wtf All need to do is map the trophies to the emblems, it can't be THAT hard to do considering what they've already achieved. Come on update it. I might actually open my copy then.
Use 3 or 4 disks and instead of waiting for long installs, swap disks within 10 seconds. :) i said a 9GB DVD. not 3 or 4 (its 4 by the way incase you cant count) I'll second that- teething problems early on aside, there's nothing wrong with Metal Gear On-line, it's a very solid title. Compression, look it up :roll: |
