New God of War PSP game rumoured

Chains of Olympus dev won't rule it out
Speculation is mounting that a new God of War title for PSP is in the pipeline, and the rumoured developer hasn't said 'no'.

Joystiq reckons that Ready at Dawn, the studio behind the excellent GoW: Chains of Olympus, is working on a new Kratos adventure for Sony's handheld, despite saying last year it was turning its back on PSP development.

The report, which is based on info from "a trusted source", even goes as far as to say that the title could make some sort of appearance at this year's E3, which takes place in June.

Ready at Dawn president and co-founder Didier Malenfant isn't playing ball at the moment though, telling the site: "You know that even if we were [making the game], I couldn't answer your question."

According to review aggregator Metacritic, GoW: Chains of Olympus is the highest rated PSP title ever with an average score of 91 percent.

Nice!
The first one was great, hopefully they can make bigger bosses (like the console versions) and a longer story for this one and it will be a truly amazing game!

They stopped making games for PSP...

Could be announced as first title along with PSP2?

Not played ANY GoW games but they do look brilliant. I will be purchasing them all in the coming months to fully sample the GoW experience in advance of GoW 3.

Some quality titles have been announced recently for the PSP. Wonder what the rush is about all of a sudden...
