Call of Juarez 2: First trailer

Prequel to feature co-op, interesting multiplayer modes
Ubisoft's released the first trailer and gameplay details for Wild West prequel, Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood.

The follow-up has you and a partner playing as the McCall brothers (yes that means online co-op) as you battle through the Wild West against a renegade Apache Chief, a greedy Mexican bandit, a vindictive Colonel, and others, all driven by "greed with moral disregard." Oooh-arrrgh.

Ray and Thomas have their own unique abilities, says Ubisoft. These include the use of a lasso or dynamite, the ability to dual-wield guns or snipe with a long-range carbine.

Online multiplayer sounds interesting as well; as well as the usual deathmatch modes, a new Bounty system increases the bounty on the heads of players with the most kills. Get rid of the deadliest and you'll increase your bank roll.

I'm actually quite intrigued by this, think there's room in a market for a decent western 'em up.

Yeah, this looks interesting, I would love a great wester game. This reminds me of 3:10 to Yuma...

I thoroughly enjoyed that movie, however this clip - while certainly not bad looking - didn't quite feel right to me. Something about the way the two protagonists' faces look near the end of the clip. I'm not yet sold on this and my interest in this title is now a bit lower than it was before I watched the clip.

Well im a huge fan of the Western genre, and i loved the first Call of Juarez, and the fact this has co-op (or highly likely to) means really this is a must have for me.

I've been playing through Call of Juarez again on my 360 recently, it's a really great game so I'm looking forward to the sequel.

The lack of Rerverend Ray will be a bit crappy though, what an amazing character he was.

One of the two characters is indeed a younger Reverend Ray. Not a reverend yet, but certainly his personality will show up. I look forward to this game.
