Can't fault 'em.
Had a quick bash at dinner but only managed to get past the intro before having to come back to work. Great intro though!

*squints eyes* Looks like you will soon be able to upload YouTube clips into you LBP levels as well. ^^^ yeah they've never let me down unlike some other companies, cough cough amazon. shall be firing up the PS3 as soon as i get home and hopefully drooling over what has been described as a graphical tour de force. and tbh the xbox needs a rest after going SF4 crazy since last thursday. hopefully this will be the game to pull me away from doing double fireballs in my sleep. Is it just me or does that picture look just like a Covenant Grunt?

I mean come on if Microsoft or Nintendo used the popularity of other games like this they'd be criticised all over the place. Nintendo never milked a franchise did it? I never said they didn't. I asked how come Sony has escaped such critcism? Never heard Nintendo getting much critcism for that. Maybe you should try backing up a few of your claims next time. :roll: Look at pretty all the Nintendo articles and comments from people on this site, in fact you just proved they get criticised for it. Slightly different what they're on about but much of it is that they don't change and they release more or less the same game. Either English isn't your first language or the term 'milking it' is completely lost on you. How does an article talking about a game changing direction translate to Nintendo milking it? Well if you didn't notice quite a bit of that article is about how they need to change because they've just kept it the same for all the years(it's a valid criticism). Or did you totally miss that? Thats not milking it you idiot that's evolving a game. You're a bit sensitive there to Wii stories, wonder why? :roll: I'm not on about changing it, I'm pointing out that the article says that having the game be the same for twenty years is bad.
Umm I'm proving that people criticise Nintendo for "milking it", of course articles about the Wii will be a main source.

Anyway back to my original point, perhaps although this is a form of milking it doesn't matter because the main point is it's providing resources and actually improving a game. May be, I don't know how to explain it now. :? Read back through your posts, clear evidence. At least you admit you don't know what you're talking about. lol seriously every popular game ever made (maybe a few that haven't...) have been milked!
Just the new DLC compared to sequels that has hit ps3 and xbox is bit more in you face milking! lol
Anyway nothing wrong with milking if it adds something more to a game, I loved that I finished little big planet wanted some more professional made levels and along came the Metal gear pack.

Nice avatar, it matches your personality perfectly... Thanks for a civil reply, I'm in agreement with you, I think criticism should be thrown at all three console makers a lot of other companies(ie. Sega, Square Enix, EA). Not all "milking" is bad but if we're criticising some for it we should criticise everyone who does it.
I think it's a great idea too, I said that first of all. I wasn't criticising Sony because a) it's good for the fans and b) it's good business. I was criticising the perception of them.
@Voodoo: All three links I provided contain examples of Nintendo being criticised for milking, two by the public and one by a more objective games journalist(even though the criticism isn't as venomous and it is valid in the third article). If you haven't the balls to make a comment when the conversation is still relevant try not making a little snide one (and one you bored us with before) when you think the thread is dead. You just come across as a bigger troll than SpoonyRedMage. You do realise you insulted two people there and you're calling us trolls, sure we've insulted you but you seem to be quite a hypocrite. But I think we should really stop now because we've both probably broke the rules here. I think you need to look up the rules. I did and flaming is against the rules, which means the insults that were thrown about did break the rules. You're about 10 years old right? No, I just have common decency and the capacity admit when I'm in the wrong. You seem to be lacking both. There will now be some comment that totally avoids the point, because that's what he does. He's quite happy to throw out question after question, but when you ask him something directly that you know would prove him wrong, you won't ever get a response, just more insults.
And heaven forbid you mention his ever so slight Sony favouring... that's when he starts calling people xbots... even those who do not own an Xbox and have no desire to do so... :lol:
