Manager claims they can't find a singer and will tour no more
According to their manager reunited rock legends Led Zeppelin 'won't ever perform together again'.
Jimmy Pages manager, Peter Mensch, told MusicRadar that there is zero chance the band will ever perform together again. This comes as somewhat of a surprise as the comments come less than 24 hours after he told the BBC that Page, John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham had been having a really good time rehearsing together.
One million people applied for tickets to their London show almost two years at the O2, with only 9,000 pairs of tickets available. With many hoping for a more live dates this year it looks as though theyll be disappointed.
Since singer Robert Plant pulled out of reunion shows in Autumn 2007 the search has been on to find a replacement singer but without success. Chris Cornell and Aerosmith's Steven Tyler are both rumoured to have auditioned.
Mensch explained "They tried out a few singers, but no one worked out. That was it. The whole thing is completely over now It's done. I can't be any clearer than that.
