I wonder which game is going to get the media spotlight after Killzone 2? I feel sorry for the devs already! And also ur contradicting yourself because if you really DONT CARE then why did u read the post and why take the time out to actually reply to it? Halo Zone... no...no wait, Killzone Wars... Drakes at a guess I'm actually glad they keep the articles and movies about kz2 coming as all it's doing is heightening my anticipation for what by all accounts is a fantastic title. water off a ducks back.

yeah, i'm blaming you lot of single brain cell retards for our current economic climate. I'd laugh if Killzone 2 was absolutely rubbish, I don't want it to be but I'd love the reaction from the majority of the PS3 userbase. probably no worse than the xbots reaction to it being good. It wouldn't be as funny in my opinion, the Xbot reaction has been "Yer well, it's generic and we have better shooters!" but if it were rubbish it would just be awkward for all the people saying it's the best game ever after only playing the demo. you must have missed tonyb, ps360 et al little rants then. only a right thicko would 'hope' a game is disappointing. I agree, I hope it's a great game but it would be hilarious if went bad. How would it go bad? Two great beta's, an excellent demo and a bag full of brilliant reviews. I think you need to go and read the first Star Ocean IV review to see a good game gone bad. Still far from hilarious. I hear that, frankly I could do without being shown new screens and videos every week of a game that was still 6 months ormore away from release.

The hype surrounding this so called "system seller", which is laughable in itself with the ridiculous, stubbornly maintained price-point amid the worst economic crisis for the last 100 years, says all you need to know about Sony's desperation!! Maybe, I think SO4 will be alright, most JRPGs get average reviews nowadays(only some deserve it). But SO4 hasn't been bigged up to be the greatest game ever or the game that will tip the console war in anyone's favour Killzone 2 has.
I'm not saying it will go bad, I don't think it will but just because it has decent multiplayer and one or two good levels doesn't mean the rest are rubbish(I bet they're not though). good to see tonyb and ps36 oops suivatam109ps3 providing some entertainment for you You found a job yet, social parasite?? I wonder if it will live up to expectations? The hype has been tremendous. It looks fantastic graphics wise and the premise for a decent background story is there but will it suck you in and eat your social life for days, weeks, even months and become the next yardstick for FPS games? Well the first Killzone was hyped up nearly as much and that was last gen when hype was considerably less and the first Killzone was rubbish.

EDIT: Plus reviews mean hardly anything nowadays, there's too much hype, look at GTAIV it was hyped up to be fantastic, the best ever and nearly everyone know agrees it was good but not great.
And a demo showing a level or two? means hardly anything. They'd most likely pick two of the best levels to show in a demo. Like how all the best scenes are in film trailers. I dont think for one second that this is a 95+ game BUT one thing i do know is, it'll be better that CoD:WaW and Halo.
In fact this will probably be the best fps on any console (CoD4 only coming close). Show me any 360 game or PS3 game for that matter that offers as much as this does or else go back to sucking mummys tits and stop wasting my time. FYI it was the opening level in the demo, and they rarely give you the best level in a demo. Resistance, drakes fortune, heavenly sword, dead space and tons of others instantly come to mind Except quite possibly for the ramblings of an out-and-out rabid SDF fanboy who has yet to demonstrate he contributes anything meaningful and/or constructive to this forum (and possibly life in general?). Apropos, speaking of "blind loyalty" have you perchance inquired as to what the surgical bill will be to have your head removed from Sony's backside? I imagine you might want to inquire as to what it will cost to get a good scrub down afterwards as well.

Seriously though, do games have to always have something new to be good? Still, the changing on-the-fly gamemode in the multiplayer is pretty new to consoles, if I am not mistaken. Don't want to start another ruckus (although it's inevitable in this part of the forum!) but the reason Voodoo is so tetchy is because he is the exact living epitomy of these people whom you claim would get all buttsore about the game being poor.
Hell, his reaction to your comment is actually a rather ironic confirmation that it would indeed be a hilarious reaction if Killzone sucked baws! :lol: I agree, it doesn't have to be original to be good but someone asked what other games deliver what KZ 2 does and I was a bit confused as to waht KZ does deliver then. Right on, but would you ever get him and others like him to acknowledge it in public (presuming that he/they do actually think KZ2 turns out to be poor)? :wink: That little exchange made me chuckle - if you're going to argue, do it with a sense of humour like that...keep up the good work guys!

for such a busy guy you spend a large amount of time trolling an article about a game you're never going to buy :wink: all I'm going to say is that there have been reports of people (reviewers not actually reviewing it mostly) not even completing it because they say there is no real incentive to do so. it works well apparently but is shallow and uninteresting. a bit like GoW2 to an extent (over-hyped but still a great game). i think edges review will (over time) be seen as more or less accurate (they usually age better than most reviews in my opinion.)
i reckon this will live online a bit like CoD4 and halo 3, where they get their credits for their multiplayer. on the other hand tho, with eight multiplayer maps and no unique modes, it still won't beat CoD4 or even W@W (which is brilliant online!). and when CoD6 comes out, i reckon it'll be forgotten like killzone 1.
and i'm not an xbox fanboy or anything as i have all 3 consoles (360/wii/ps3)!!! so suck it to people like daily! blatant fanboy »
