Need for Speed Online in testing next month

...in MMO-loving Hong Kong and Taiwan
Need for Speed World Online is to enter the first stages of testing when the free-to-play, PC-exclusive titled is beamed out to gamers next month.

As EA explains: "The game offers numerous race tracks and game modes where players are able to form teams to take on the competition and the police. Players can collect and customise racing characters alongside authentic real-world licensed cars and will be able to track their progress via online leaderboards, all in the largest free roaming environment in Need for Speed history."

NFSWO joins EA's other Asia-only online title, EA Sports Fifa Online 2, and there have been no announcements regarding a western release.

The game is developed by EA's online studio in Singapore with helping hand from the developer of the Need for Speed franchise, Black Box.

I'm sort of curious about this one. I heard it was a re-release of Motor City Online, one of my favourite games of all time.
If that's the case then I want to find a way of creating an account. If it's just another crappy Underground then they can get lost.

Umm odd why they are only releasing this in Asia for the time being...
