Time Crisis on iPhone - now

Sweet touch-screen rendition of Namco's shooter released
After you've finished with the joys of Rolando on iPhone, what should you go for next? How about some Time Crisis action?

Namco has just released Time Crisis Strike on the App Store - a brilliant-sounding touch screen entry of its classic duck-and-shoot lightgun series.

Here's the blurb: "Players tap the screen to fire a semi-automatic pistol and unleash all-out attacks on Wild Dog's army. Players tilt the iPhone/iPod touch to duck, take cover from enemy fire and reload.

"Time Crisis Strike features two game modes - Arcade Mode and Crisis Missions. In Arcade Mode, players move through multiple stages that culminate in a final showdown with the evil Wild Dog.

"Crisis Missions put players' sharp-shooting skills to the test. On first play, only one Crisis Missions is available; players must beat Wild Dog in arcade mode to unlock the remaining four Crisis Missions."

Sounds brilliant. The screenshots, to the right, look pretty good too. If you've got it downloaded already, let us know what you think of it in the comments below.

Elements of time crisis 1 and time crisis 2, combining to make something not quite as good as either.

Looks alright for mobile game. Still don't think the iphone will ever be considered a proper gaming platform though.

Its needs some really killer apps not just flash games and curios.

then again it is very developer friendly, A mate of mines just released a wiifit type app for it (pushup fu). http://www.gymfu.com/

ahhh owning an iphone keeps getting better and better.
and everyone thought i was nuts spending 1000 bucks on a phone.

you are mental, mine cost me 100...
Posted by blind_fools
yea but im in oz thats what they cost here.
we got completly ripped off with everything.
example iphone 16GB in US $400 US = under $800 AU but were paying $900 locked, if you want it un locked cough up another 140.
PS3 games US normaly between 50-60 US = max 100 AU but were paying 120 for every game.
