The remake was for the best part a pile of garbage that destroyed pretty much all the things that made the series on the N64 do great. I had no idea that the house of mouse had the rights to Turok.
Anyway, I thought that Disney had bought Junction Point studios and Spector was working on his TOON game. I didn't see any mention of that, I'm worried :( Global credit crunch, or were they stopping a terrible sequel to a terrible game. That new Turok mess was a frikkin' disaster, and a disgrace to the original Turok name.
I'm finding myself constantly irritated by devs using 'iconic characters/IP' to sell sub-par games... they'd be as well to. the **** hasn't made a decent film in god knows how long. how does he justify getting paid what he does. ****in sponge :x Wow!! You REALLY hate that mouse, don't you??? »yep just as much as Cuddles the monkey hates that duck :lol: Turok needs to go back to Nintendo, it really was the perfect fit...
The economy and the fact that the game didn't meet expectations are likely to blame, but the HD business model has a big part to play too. I still can't believe they turned Turok into some generic space marine garbage... Its no shock. Turok demo was woeful!! Nobody wants a sequel to (new) Turok, Someone needs to remake the classic Turok games and keep things exactly how they were in the originals, well maybe with a few changes/fixes, but no team space marine crap, and no regenerative health crap, and no carry two-to-four weapons only crap. YAY! No more Turok crap. Man that shit was awful. I actually like'd the remake... what, no more hannah montana games? might as well sell my consoles on ebay now... |
