World At War double XP weekend

Two new playlists added also
Activision US has sent word out that this weekend will give you chance to catch up with those types of gamers that eat, sleep, don't drink but pretend World At War is real.

"Players will receive Double-XP this weekend (January 30 through February 1), but not only that, but due to popular request they will have two new playlists at their disposal for Xbox 360 and PS3.

""Team Tactical (4v4) and Mercenary TDM (no parties allowed). Team Tactical will pit two teams of four against each other in a random rotation of all the Team-Based gametypes."

Can't be too long before we start hearing something about a DLC map pack if history is anything to go by...

I've only recently bought this game on the 360, and the multiplayer is top notch. It's so quick and easy to get into any match, and it's so smooth.

I'm still not great at it, but it's great fun to play :p

Well your missing out matey i spent over 7 months playing cod4 and i'll no doubt spend the same playing waw, Why are people so snobbish about cod5 just because its not Infinity Ward the mulitplayer is on par with if not slightly better then cod 4 also theres the excellent inclusion of the 4player co-op zombie mode which is pure genius with a group of friends.

Why? I'll only speak for myself and my perception is that Treyarch got a free ride off of Infinity Ward's hard work. IW created the engine and presumably laid the vast majority of ground work in terms of models, shaders, graphics, etc. True, level design is something different but all that said after being blown away by CoD4 and the refreshing change of war theater that it was I simply feel no desire whatsoever to return to the already heavily milked WWII theater. WaW? Thank you, but no thank you. CoD: Modern Warfare 2? Yes please!
