The Ting Tings

One of the biggest successes of 2008, The Ting Tings head off on tour in February. The band have said they will be heading back into the studio early next year to record the follow up to We Started Nothing.

So, if you want to hear a sneak preview of the new material get yourself a ticket for the tour.

Keane

Guitar less three piece Keane return to the live scene here in the UK with their biggest arena tour to date.

The band whose first two albums received critical acclaim release their third album Perfect Symmetry in October and it will make up most of the set lists for this tour. It all kicks off in January, be quick though as tickets are sure to sell fast.

Oasis

Oasis celebrate the success of their new album Dig Out Your Soul with the announcement of a huge stadium tour next year.

With support from the Enemy and Kasabian no wonder Noel described the gigs as the best of the decade.

The tour kicks off with three nights in their home city of Manchester.

Kings of Leon

Failed to get tickets for this winters Kings Of Leon tour? Fear not as possibly the biggest band in the world right now have just announced two more dates for the UK in Summer 2009 calling at London O2 Arena on June 15 and Manchester Evening News on June 22nd.

Tickets are expected to go fast for the new dates, which are on sale now!

Coldplay

Coldplay are to follow in the footsteps of Oasis and Radiohead by playing at Wembley Stadium and Old Trafford cricket ground in Manchester and Scottish fans will be treated to a date in Hampden Park in 2009.

To make these huge gigs even bigger, they’ve enlisted the support of Jay Z, who has confirmed that he will be supporting the band on all dates.

Tickets for the dates go on sale November 28th!

Anyone who was hoping to see The Killers UK Tour early next year and didnt get tickets is too late! Sorrys guys. Tickets for the UK jaunt literally sold out within
hours of them going on sale.

For those unlucky few who missed out, you at least have their new album 'Day And Age'released on November 14th to keep you company on these cold winter nights.

The Streets

The Streets front man Mike Skinner got his first keyboard at 5, built a mini recording studio in his room at 13 and was making music by the time he was 15.

Metallica

Without a doubt, heavy metal legends Metallica are one of the most influential bands of all time. Forty singles, 9 studio albums and finally, they have just announced their first full uk tour in twelve years.

Having taken a year off to chill, relax and write some new stuff Snow Patrol are back with a new single – Take back this City, a new album - Hundred Million Suns and recently announced a full UK and Irish tour.

The 'Taking Back The City' tour kicks off in Bournemouth on February 22 culminating in a homecoming as they play the last gig in Belfast on March 19.

Late Of The Pier

Fresh from touring the UK's warehouses and a support slot with the Kaiser Chiefs with Gonzo On Tour, Castle Donnington lot Late Of The Pier are pursuing a more traditional tour with a long stint throughout February.

Expect plenty of glow sticks, flashing lights and jumping around the stage from this lot who have seen their popularity rocket the last year after successful festival performances especially at the Underage Festival.

Black Kids

Black Kids continue their run of supporting huge bands by announcing that they are to support Kaiser Chiefs on their February 2009 tour. The Jacksonville band has had plenty of success in the UK, but these shows will be by far the biggest they've played on these shores.

The Prodigy

Rave punk legends The Prodigy will be treating fans to some of their new material in December before they embark on an arena tour next April.

Liam, Keith and Maxim have promised a high energy show for fans to coincide with the release of their new album.

The two tours also give fans a choice to see them in a huge arena or a smaller up close venue.
