2.0 out of 5 stars Late and small, October 16, 2004
This was originally due on September 1 and didn't ship until Oct 13, and when it finally did it was digest size as well instead of the usual larger prestige format that special comics like this get. Its a great length for a prestige, but as the digest size it just seems very very small.

The presentation is nice however, even with the non-glossy paper. The story ties in well with the film as well as the established history of the characters in Dark Horse's prior titles, and still takes a unique stance on the entire thing as well.

Its just too little too late, and too small. Huge letdown.

These panels were lifted right from the movie, which itself is rare with adaptations of this sort. 4.0 out of 5 stars Overwhelming, October 6, 2003
There is so much awesome incredible information in this volume it boggles the mind that two people that never met face to face were responsible for it.

I love the history of wrestling, championship lineages in particular. It amazes me that certain men never held heavyweight gold, like Scott Hall or Owen Hart, and others only in one federation but not another, like Vader or Lex Luger in the WWF. This book doesn't illustrate who was more popular or who had more sway in the thick of things, but who held the titles and that's that.

Yes its outdated, the cutoff date being late 1999, but there's so many foreign and independent histories here its just too easy to get lost flipping through it… Read more
