they had loads of huge games at £25 like fallout, mirrors edge, far cry 2. dead space, quantom of solace & prince of persia for more than just one day like gamestation are doing! anyone know what they're doing left4dead for?
Going to pick that up but don't want to pay more than £35 for it. dead space has gone back up to £40 now. Dammit.
Was surprised to see Prince of Persia get dropped, its only been out for just under a fortnight. play.com are doing the new prince of persia and tomb raider underworld for £17.99! thats a bargin! Should have pre-ordered it. £29.99 from Amazon if you ordered before release ;) the price cuts have been on since monday at least. i got POP on monday for £24.99 and they had fifa on for £19.99 then as well. is anywhere doing any good Guitar Hero deals(with guitar) as thats what i'll be getting next? It's difficult to get Guitar hero cheaper, for some reason it seems to just stay at the standard price of 70.
The new one is much better suited for the drums though rather than the guitar. I got the new band pack but I'm gonna look to find GH3, with just the disc as it has more rock classics on it.
Fifa for 20 bucks is an excellent price though. It's by far the best football game this generation. I'm really happy with it, until I get beat online :( Tesco.com were doing it for £49.99 - I think they still are.
I use www.hotukdeals.com for all my bargains - I knew about the FIFA price reduction last week....great site, if you don't know it already.
:) just a pity the Tesco stores don't seem to be selling it at all or i'd already have got it on monday as well. cheers though i'll check out tesco.com
Nope Tesco.com have only got guitar hero on DS and a fender bass guitar for £49.99. looks like it'll have to be £69.99 or wait till the january sales Got this from www.play.com on PS3 about six weeks ago for that price - it only lasted a couple of weeks though.
Incidentally they're doing PS3 Bioshock and Far Cry 2 for £17.99 - two recent games for the price of 1!!! »

:) I've just heard HMV are doing it for about £59.99 so i'll have a wee look in there on the way home. hopefully they've not sold out yet That's a pretty good price - I think they were also offering it for £49.99 a few weeks back.

:) Sshopto.net is the place to be for bargains at the moment, they have: motorstrom 2, mirrors edge, little big planet, resistance 2 all £19.99 each, those games are unmissable at that price! You can find it going cheaper than that on Amazon.co.uk. For the PC especially it's much cheaper at 24.79 GBP for a new copy, yet even the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions are a few quid cheaper.

P.S. Don't know if it comes with free shipping in the UK or not but maybe worth a look nonetheless? I've seen it for £25 in Gamestation.

I got annoyed because Lips was £35 in HMV for only a few days before shooting up to £50, I didn't buy it in time and now I'm expected to pay an extra £15 because of it! I bought Lips for £40 from Sainsbury's. Hope that helps. pick up fifa 09 on monday cause it was £19.99. been a pes fan for the last 10 years so big step for me. not played fifa since psone days. 09's really good better than pes this year. Argos have got some offers on some of there games at the min gutar hero with guitar is about £58 worth a look play.com gamestation and blockbuster r also good for a bargin aswell on a daily basis. Still not buying it, based on the demo.
Still feels like the controls of FIFA 95/98 on the Megadrive for shooting. |
