On show for the first time in Australia, the collection of more than two hundred objects from the Musée du Louvre, Paris reveals the mysteries of Egyptian art and culture in all its beauty.

The National Gallery of Australia has recently secured a 6th–century bronze figure of a weaver.
The image of a mother suckling her young child while seated at her loom is perhaps the most important bronze object to be found in the Indonesian archipelago in the 20th century.
