"Tools for Teaching the Middle East and Islam: Perspectives, Strategies and Resources" is the title of the Middle East Policy Council's national program of Teacher Workshops. MEPC is currently putting the finishing touches on an innovative website, TeachMideast.org. It will be the foundation of our new free workshop program to provide resources on the Middle East and Muslims for middle and high school teachers.
The Council has been offering fully-funded, full-day staff development workshops to teachers around the nation since 1985. In that time, the Council has conducted workshops in 186 different cities in 45 states. During this time, approximately 18,000 educators have attended Council Workshops.
