RESEARCH OVERVIEW
The Academic Unit of Psychiatry has an active research programme with a substantial amount of external funding. Our research is developed along certain themes but involves study of a wide range of biological, psychological and social factors. This is reflected in the variety of methods that we use that include neuroimaging, pharmacological challenge tests, randomised clinical trials and large longitudinal studies. We collaborate with a number of other investigators within and outside of the University of Bristol.
