Our customers, executives, staff and families enjoyed a fabulous night at the special function we held at the National Gallery of Australia. While supporting this unique national institution in bringing great art to our country, we share in the goal of attracting visitors to Canberra from across the nation.  Everyone engaged in business benefits from an association with the National Gallery.

The National Gallery of Australia views corporate sponsorship as a partnership between the two organisations. We are focused on providing tailor-made services to ensure the best fit with your business requirements.

Sponsorship can help to significantly increase the profile and prestige of the company involved. Benefits can include prominent acknowledgment and company branding in media and promotional campaigns, in the exhibition catalogue and at official openings, along with exclusive entertaining opportunities.

The Gallery offers sponsorships across a number of different areas in the Gallery which may align with the needs of your company.

Exhibition Sponsorship

Exhibition sponsorship at the National Gallery of Australia represents one of the most significant arts sponsorship opportunities in the country. It provides exceptional benefits including acknowledgment in all media releases, advertising, publications and events, as well as excellent entertainment opportunities for clients, organisations, or target groups. The Development Office works closely with the sponsor to ensure that its objectives are met according to the Gallery's Development guidelines. We recognise the commercial reality of such a partnership and will work with a sponsor to achieve returns.

Corporate Members program

We invite you to become a National Gallery of Australia Corporate Member, a program offering businesses the opportunity to become involved in arts sponsorship at an entry point level.

Membership of this group is designed for businesses that:

The Corporate Members program directly supports exhibitions in the Orde Poynton and Project galleries throughout the year.

Corporate giving

The National Gallery of Australia is a registered charity and relies on the generous support of corporate and individual donors. The Gallery invites organisations to support the Gallery’s important role in the community by initiating special project funds.

Two projects currently exist through the generous donations of the Gordon Darling Foundation and Rotary Australia.
