International Symposium on Distracted Driving

Driving while distracted is a public safety issue that is an increasing factor in traffic crashes. This Symposium will focus on understanding the scope and specifics of the distracted-driving problem and discuss possible solutions that could be implemented by individuals, families, employers, lawmakers and public agencies. Solutions to be discussed include public education, employer policies, state and local laws, and technology. Attendees at the Symposium will also develop recommendations for future action to address the issue.
