Thomas H. Norstein:
 Thomas Norstein is a 14 year old university graduate. He is a boy genius and is not afraid to let it be known. His quiet, yet egotistical manner speaks loud enough. Thomas puts his faith in equations and reason, unlike Marcus's faith in power. This pits these two characters against each other in a lot of instances.
Thomas was a part of the Japanese division of DATS when he took a 6 month leave. He helped control the Digimon threat as well as being able to assist in the implementation of the transfer device used to send  DigiEggs back to the Digital World. Thomas graduated from the Stockholm Royal University of Science at the age of 13. He belongs to a prominent royal family in Austria, making him a bit of a prince.
Gaomon is known as a Digimon whose abilities are unsurpassed in the DATS organization. Teamed up, Gaomon and Thomas are one unstoppable force. Strangely enough, Gaomon calls Thomas master. They use a series of  codes such as 'A-1' to communicate during battle. They also time their battles and always try to beat their best time. Gaomon's attack, Double Backhand, creates a hurricane effect through a spinning motion.
Gaomon Digivolves to Gaogamon through the use of Thomas's Digisoul. Gaogamon is a husky-wolf monster who sports massive fangs and claws. His attack, Spiral Claw, creates a whirlwind from his mouth, entrapping his opponent.
