 Guildhall Harpists and Friends at Museum of London
Join student harpists from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama as they perform a varied programme to showcase the full range of this ancient and versatile instrument. They will cover a wide selection of music styles: from classical music through to jazz, solos and chamber music, as well as being accompanied by a singer some of the time.

Walk: Singing the City at Museum of London
Ever wanted to sing ¿Here comes a chopper to chop off your head¿ at one of the churches mentioned in ¿Oranges and Lemons?¿ or ¿Ring-a-ring o' Roses¿ at the site of a plague pit? Or an African freedom song by a Wren church? Or part of a Wesley hymn near the spot where he was converted? And what about ¿London Bridge is Falling Down¿ near¿ well, you get the idea. We'll be visiting sites of historical interest and singing songs old and new, in parts, in harmony, and in good voice of course! Song sheets will naturally be provided as this is definitely one to join in with!

Walk: A stroll along the Thames at
Take a pleasant summer evening stroll across the River Thames over the 'wobbly' Millenium Bridge to discover the entertainments of Bankside, from its medieval 'stews' to Elizabethan theatre and beyond, see a replica of Francis Drake's Golden Hind and hear tales of the riverside wharfs. Cross back to the City of London across London Bridge and discover some of its 2000 year history from Roman times to present day, including the scaffold at the Tower, Billingsgate Fish Market and the enchanting Customs House.
