TNA'S BARRY SCOTT FEATURED IN NBA CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS BETWEEN LAKERS AND CELTICS
By Bill Banks and Chris Thomas

For TNA Wrestling fans that have tuned in to the ongoing NBA championship series in recent days, you may have heard a very familiar voice - TNA's own Barry Scott, who is the man behind many of the commercials and packages you see on "iMPACT!" and our Pay-Per-Views.

Barry provided the voiceover for the opening video package of Thursday's Game 4 between the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics, which saw the Celtics pull off the biggest comeback in NBA finals history to take a commanding 3-1 lead.

Barry Scott is quickly becoming one of the most recognized voices in entertainment, ranging from TNA to commercials, movies and sporting events, including MLB, NBA as well as the NFL. In fact, he voiced the opening to last year's Super Bowl!

When asked about the NBA playoffs, Barry says he is rooting for the Celtics…

"As Barry the NBA fan, I’m hoping my boys (the Celtics) handle business on Sunday night…but as Barry the businessman, I’m hoping to see it go all seven games!" he joked.

In addition to his voiceover work, the Nashville native also teaches at Tennessee State University and regularly travels the country performing a tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Barry was recently featured as the special host on the "TNA: Best Of 2007" DVD release (check out the footage below, available now at ShopTNA.com)

"TNA has grown so fast in recent years and I've loved being a part of it," Scott told TNAwrestling.com. "Everyone from the staff to the superstars have been amazing to work with."
