I agree!

I made the mistake of cleaning up after my oldest (13 now)when she was younger. Things like picking up dishes after dinner, picking up her toys, cleaning her room... Now it's a nightmare to get her to pick up after herself. I won't make that mistake again!

BTW, I'm not sure how the beating or spanking answers came from this question. It's got nothing to do with that!
