Farmington woman who died in weekend crash ID'd

Authorities have identified the 18-year-old Farmington woman who died in a three-car crash in Apple Valley early Saturday.

About 3:15 a.m., two cars were traveling south on Cedar Avenue approaching County Road 42. One car was in the left lane, the other in the right lane. Preliminary information indicates that the light for southbound Cedar Avenue was green.

A car driven by a 59-year-old Minneapolis man on westbound County Road 42 entered the intersection and hit the car driven by Darah Lynn Robertson of Farmington. Robertson, 18, was killed.

The names of the other drivers have not been released.

The crash remains under investigation.
