Our Commitment

Dear Friends of the Foundation,

This past year has been one of fruitful accomplishments with regard to health education/prevention and clinical healthcare provided by RCHF for about 53,000 underserved and uninsured within the City of Riverside. Not only have medical and dental care been sustained for the populations we served through the Eastside Health Center and the Mark T. Williams Arlanza Family Health Center, but vision care was also added to the latter.

Our health education programs expanded significantly through the contributions of health educator Christine Tedjasukmana now effectively spearheading new directions particularly in the area of diabetes prevention through her innovative curriculum development of Follow the Leader. 2007 was also a year of grant making growth, with $2,603,452.09 dispersed to 31 funded grants. Dr. Sally Andriamiarisoa, RCHF’s new Vice President of Advancement joined us this year and forwarded the Foundation’s institutional advancement through her dynamic involvement within the Riverside community, propelling RCHF to national recognition as one of the 100 healthiest cities for youth in America. The ranks of the Board of Directors have also been strengthened by the addition of Carla Davis to the team. READ MORE . . .
