"Teaching About the Arab World and Islam" is the title of the Middle East Policy Council's national program of Teacher Workshops. The Council has been offering these fully-funded, full-day staff development workshops to teachers around the nation since 1985. In that time, the Council has conducted Workshops in 186 different cities in 45 states. During this time, approximately 18,000 educators have attended Council Workshops.
Currently, the Council's Teacher Workshop program is being updated to better suit the training and educational needs of teachers and students. The Council hopes to continue the program in the Spring of 2007. In the meantime, all questions concerning the program can be directed to the program manager at pfahim@mepc.org.
