The dream of Lutheran Housing Support is to create a national network of "Lutherans" involved in housing ministry, community organizing, and care for their neighbors, body and soul. We envision forums for networking and sharing information throughout the LCMS about housing and community development strategies and models that work.

Lutheran Housing Support recognizes that we have many LCMS members with experience and capacity to lead and train. You are valuable. Your experiences in your neighborhoods are rich and meaningful to others who may struggle to overcome some of the same obstacles you faced and conquered.

Lutheran Housing Support Network seeks to engage Lutheran expertise from within to transform our neighborhoods inside out.

We seek hosts to sponsor a roundtable discussion of best practices and collaborative grant possibilities. The role of the host will be to identify and provide a good meeting site and work with Lutheran Housing Support staff to identify "field experts" for the discussion and to help with publicity for the event. Our goal is to initiate a conversation and form relationships and partners to strengthen our work together.
