Did daddy really change when he had a girl?

we have a 17 month old son and my hubby is kinda hard on him because its his "boy" ya know. I mean he doesnt want him to be a wuss and he wants him to be tuff... hard for a mom to understand but we are on baby number 2 and we dont know what it is yet!!.. BUT maybe ill get a girl. Do daddys really change with baby girls?

    I dont kno but my dad has 3 girl(including me) and he has never spanked us or really been HARD on us....He drills stuff in our heads because we are LADIES and he wants us to respect ourselves. He constantly gives us ADVICE and its only because he loves us so much. And Im a daddys girl and My dad told me Im his favorite lol he does anything for me.I couldnt imagine him having a son.

    dads always change with a baby. espically when its a girl. they have to nicer and less tough to the girl. girls are 'more emotion' and guys arent 'as emotional'. also, in most people's eyes guys do more sports and have more responsiblity. so ya, dads change more for a girl unless they're gay or something
