Of course they can. If a crime has been committed, they could question a four year old without parental consent. Now, a parent can be present if the child requests it, depending on the circumstances, but the parent doesn't need to "ok" the questioning.

You need to call and attorney and ask about the laws in your state pertaining to minor questioning. Because not every state allows the police to question a minor with out their parent or guardian present

YES!... many young girls don't feel comfortable talking to their parents about sex specially about them wanting to be sexually active or being sexually active. I feel than in many families sex and protection is the last topics many parents want to hit and yet alone school sucks at sex ed. I would encourage young ladies to be protected and go to planned parenthood 100% confidential and they will explain every type of method and even recommend what might be best for you.

here is the trick part of it all...
Yes they can be questioned without an adult...BUT!!!..if it is to be used in a court of law, they must give a proper interview, have the information verified in writing and also a parent must give consent.

they can but the minor does not have to answer anything without parents present, just like an adult can hush without a lawyer.

yes but there must be somebody else in the room, preferably a woman because they are a minor.
