Making Our World Safer...
Giving Opportunities

Generosity and support from people like you helps us deliver our mission.
The National Safety Council’s mission is to prevent accidental injury and death by educating and influencing people to adopt and maintain safe and healthy practices and behaviors in all aspects of their lives. We are the only charitable organization that promotes safety for the entire family, no matter where you are: at home, at work, or on the road. We provide a voice to advocate the issues that affect us all.

Friends of Safety

Support a cause that you are passionate about. Because of our safety initiatives, more people come home safe from factories, offices, and construction sites every day. The National Safety Council has trained millions of people worldwide in First Aid and CPR, Occupational Safety and Health, Defensive Driving and so much more. We provide a voice to advocate issues that affect us all. You can depend on us as your friend of Safety, and through your generous donations, we know we can depend on you. Become a Friend of Safety today. Donate Today!

Memorial and Tribute Donations

Memorial Donations allow you to honor the memory of a deceased family member or friend. The National Safety Council will send a card to that person's family informing them of your generous and thoughtful donation, without mentioning the amount of the gift. You can also add a personalized message on the card. A Tribute Donation is a thoughtful way to acknowledge special events - birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, graduations. We'll send a card personalized with the special event and your message without mentioning the amount of the gift. Donate Today!

Planned Giving

Bequests by will can be in a number of forms. All are fully deductible as charitable gifts for federal estate tax purposes and, in most cases, for state death tax purposes. Additionally, you can transfer cash, securities or other property to a Trust, with instructions that the trustee pay income to you or whomever you designate for a specified length of time, and then transfer the remaining principal to the National Safety Council.
