Certified Utility Safety Administrator Program (CUSA)

The Certified Utility Safety Administrator Program (CUSA) provides formal recognition to utility industry safety administrators for their experience and knowledge of safety practices. It is the first industry-oriented safety certification offering individual professional recognition to those in the utility safety profession. CUSA is managed and directed by the National Safety Council and its Utilities Division.

CUSA paper and pencil test offered onsite on June 24, 2007

The Certified Utility Safety Administrator (CUSA) exam will be offered onsite at the Summer Utilities Division Meeting on Sunday, June 24, 2007 from 2-4pm at the InterContinental Milwaukee hotel. It will be offered in a paper-and-pencil format. To sit for the CUSA exam at this meeting, you need to meet the eligibility requirements, complete and submit a CUSA Application Review Request (CARR) form, receive pre-approval to take the test, and pre-pay the exam fee. Walk-ins will not be allowed. Please see eligibility information and application (CARR form) posted at this webpage. It will be offered in a paper-and-pencil format. To sit for the CUSA exam at this event, you need to meet the eligibility requirements, complete and submit a CUSA Application Review Request (CARR) form, receive pre-approval to take the test, and pre-pay the exam fee. CUSA shirts are now available for individual order directly through Creative Resources, the shirt vendor. When ordering your Exclusive National Safety Council CUSA Shirts, please note that Discover and American Express credit cards will no longer be accepted.
