Attitudinal Dynamics of Driving, 3rd Edition

DDC-ADD

Attitudinal Dynamics of Driving (DDC-ADD) is a highly effective course that helps problem drivers make direct connections between their attitudes and their behavior behind the wheel. They’ll see that the choices they make have very real costs – financial, legal, and personal – and learn to take responsibility for their action.

It’s a great complement to our four-hour Defensive Driving Course DDC-4 or any of our other driver improvement courses. Participants will:

  • Understand the connection between driving behaviors and attitudes that impact decision-making
  • Learn to recognize the motivation behind effective and ineffective decision making
  • Complete a self-assessment profile to identify personal needs and wants
  • Begin to embrace the commitment needed to change current driving behaviors and develop an action plan to change those behaviors

What’s new in the 3rd edition?

The program has been completely overhauled to encompass new skill sets and mind sets to recognize the direct connection between drivers’ attitudes and their driving behaviors.

New and expanded topics and course materials include:

  • Useful contemporary research on impaired driving
  • Updated state laws on license revocation and suspension
  • Expanded information on alcohol, drugs and decision making

Revised and new 2008 Teaching and Student materials include:

  • Fully-scripted instructor manual
  • Interactive Instructor PowerPoint
  • Course Guide
  • Updated videos list including one new segment: Taking Responsibility, Daily Decisions..., Lifelong Consequences!
