The SiS671-based Motherboard, MS-7317 from MSI, to enter volume production

The MS-7317 motherboard is designed for the mainstream market. To meet the requirements of the majority, MSI implements the SiS671 chipset in its MS-7317 motherboard. The motherboard supports Intel® Core™ 2 Duo FSB 800MHz processor and single channel DDR2-667 which provides up to 4GB of memory size. With the Mirage™3 graphics engine, the SiS671 enables the MS-7317 motherboard to support DirectX9.0 so that the MS-7317 motherboard is able to smoothly operate the Windows Vista™. Also, because of the integrated SiS Real Video technology, the MS-7317 motherboard allows to deliver fluent image quality under Windows Vista™. The SiS968 Southbridge chipset is paired with the SiS671 Northbridge chipset to provide the ultimate performance of the MS-7317 motherboard.
