| "Robotopia Rising" was the very cool robot-oriented part of the
"JAPAN! culture + hyperculture" festival held at the Kennedy
Center, Washington D.C., between February 7-17. It was organized by Tim
Hornyak, science and technology journalist and author of Loving the Machine
(Kodansha International). I spoke at the event with Tim and Matt Alt, author
and owner of the super vintage toy robot collection shown. Check out the
