Nova
The Beast of Loch Ness
January 12, 1999
John M. Clark (bassace@home.com) writes:
It is hard to believe that Nova represents itself as a science show. The
episode on the "Beast of Loch Ness" would have been more appropriate on the old
"In Search Of" series with Leonard Nemoy narrating. The word "skeptical" I
believe was used once. Eye witness testimonials were quoted endlessly, The
failure of real evidence to confirm the existence of "Nessy" seemed merly to
indicate that the environment is difficult and the monster is illusive, rather
than any indication that it might not exist. Zero stars!
