Digimon Adventure 02 Evil Villains
Daemon

Attacks:
Evil Inferno
Daemon's past is shrouded in mystery. Daemon was well aware of the Dark Spore implanted in Ken's neck. He wanted to harvest the Spore himself and use it for his own plans, which are, and will always be unknown.

He used his ability to access Digi Ports at his free will to transport him and his henchmen, known as the Daemon Corps, to the real world. The group included LadyDevimon, SkullSatamon, and MarineDevimon. The Daemon Corps began a search for Ken. Sylphimon took care of LadyDevimon, Shakkoumon took care of MarineDevimon, and Imperialdramon took care of SkullSatamon.

Oikawa's truck drove by just then with Ken in it, as Daemon demanded them to hand him over. They were about to do just so when the DigiDestined appeared and attacked Daemon, freeing Ken.

They were unable to kill Daemon, and sending him back to the Digital World would be pointless since he can open Digi Ports at will. Imperialdramon was able to hold Daemon long enough to allow Ken time to center his thoughts towards the Dark Spore. This enabled him to use his Digivice to open a portal to the Dark Ocean. The gate to the Dark Ocean opened behind Daemon, where he was locked away.
