Testimonials

We advertised a job for a Trade Sales Manager on jobs.telegraph.co.uk in January 07. The job was live for a month and we received 40 applications through jobs.telegraph.co.uk. The quality of response was good and as such three applicants were shortlisted for the client and of these three one was placed with the client for the role of Trade Sales Manager.

Over the last two months we have advertised various Senior Engineering roles on jobs.telegraph.co.uk and have received consistently good quality results. I have found that jobs.telegraph.co.uk provides lower volumes of response, usually 15 17 but they are good quality relevant candidates rather than higher volumes of irrelevant applications. This makes handling an advertising based selection process much more straightforward to manage and there is an almost instantaneous result which our clients’ like. We recently placed two very specific advertisements on jobs.telegraph.co.uk, one for a Power Plant Manager role and another for a Project Engineering Director. With respect to the Power Plant Manager my client needed two and they secured one through the DT response and the Project Engineering Manager is still under process with a DT candidate being one of the main contenders.

We recently placed an advert on jobs.telegraph.co.uk for a Manufacturing Engineer and within a few weeks we received 13 applications. From the 13 applicants 8 were invited in for interview. As always the response from jobs.telegraph.co.uk was good in quantity and especially in quality and for those reasons we will continue to use jobs.telegraph.co.uk for our Manufacturing roles.

Beth Churchill, Ward executive (Mar 07)

We recently selected The Telegraph to recruit a Sales Director for a technology client. We received over 30 responses and generated a quality shortlist, from which our client has successfully recruited. We believe The Telegraph is very well placed to attract candidates for technical sales management roles.

Dale Perrett, Director Novo Executive Search and Selection (June 07)

For one of my client that works within the energy consultancy marketplace I advertised a Senior Sales Manager role on the Telegraph’s website which generated in excess of 30 responses over the course of 4 weeks. Of these there was a selection of candidates that were objectively right for this specific role. Advertising with the Telegraph certainly strengthened our shortlist and I wouldn’t hesitate to use the site again, as it aided the successful recruitment for this particular assignment.

George Woodward, Director Novo Executive Search and Selection (June 07)

Advertising on the Jobs.telegraph.co.uk has had a dramatic impact on our ability to recruit quality British teachers and managers seeking long-term or permanent positions. We’re delighted with the response we receive and the quality of candidates is generally far better than most of the other jobsites we use.
