Tenix Marine is a diversified and highly competitive contractor in the Marine and Resource sectors in the Australasian region. We specialise in Shipbuilding, Maintenance & Repairs, Integrated Materiel & Logistic support, and Asset Management.
Currently in a growth phase due to securing a number of long-term high profile projects, we’re seeking to appoint a Senior Systems Safety Engineer, based in Melbourne. Your primary responsibility will be providing the appropriate System Safety and Certification engineering input for the development or modification of systems with minimal direction in approach and methodology.
Operating within a structured systems engineering and regulatory framework, your key responsibilities will include:
* Managing integrated system safety engineering program activities, including sub-contractor liaison to support the delivery of project solutions
* Development and delivery of safety engineering artefacts in support of regulatory certification and customer requirements
* Specialist support to project engineering managers and multiple technical disciplines in the development, justification and delivery of engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle
* Support to project bid activities to ensure appropriate System Safety Programs are engineered, costed and incorporated into tender proposals
