Our client is a newly formed, specialist maintenance organisation, aiming to operate at the forefront of the facilities management industry. They have substantial plans for growth, and have recently been awarded a prestigious ten-year contract within the facilities management market.

They offer complete maintenance solutions to their clients, and are currently seeking to strengthen the team responsible for the daily running of this prominent new contract. The team will be site based in the Hertfordshire area with satellite sites around the Home Counties and further sites in North and West England.

Due to this exciting development and growth, they are seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee this particular contract. You will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of M, E & Fabric maintenance and ancillary services across the UK-wide portfolio of sites. Creating and implementing of KPI’s & SLA’s to drive improvements in client service levels and internal business processes is key to the role, as is the delivery of site based projects, whilst cultivating and maintaining professional working relationships at all levels.

The ideal candidate is likely to come from an electrical or mechanical engineering background within the building services arena, and have strong leadership and communication skills and the ability to motivate others. You will possess either an HNC/HND or equivalent qualification, or will have had experience within a similar position. The ability to build rapport and trust quickly with both colleagues and clients will ensure success.
