Job Ref: 0097886 Job Type: Permanent Employer Type: Direct Employer Date Added: 03/01/2008
Employer: Nielsen
Location: Oxford or Birmingham
Salary: On Application
Benefits: £Competitive

If you’re after a new way to use your sales experience and client or national account management skills, Nielsen knows one. We work with many of the largest Foodservices businesses, helping them better understand their consumers, identify trends and ‘sell smarter’. That means getting under their skin, nurturing close and productive relationships, anticipating needs and meeting these with outstanding products and services – over to you.

As a Foodservice specialist you’ll have a large portfolio of manufacturer / supplier clients to manage. You’ll build strong business partnerships with these clients based on real understanding of their businesses and work with them to develop sales and marketing strategies that build profits. Success will come from combining our intelligence with your Foodservice market experience and insight and connecting these in innovative ways that drive client value and satisfaction.

That’s going to call for a special mix of strong analytical skills, Foodservice market understanding and the ability to influence at the highest level. Equally, you’ll need to be as comfortable working independently as you are within a team context.

We’ll put all the tools, resources and products of the world’s No. 1 marketing research company at your disposal. There will also be opportunities to work on a wider level with Nielsen FMCG teams, as our internal Foodservice expert. If you’ve got the confidence and credibility to get the measure of this opportunity, you can find a great future here.
