That level of involvement means we can boast a wide range of capabilities, including systems integration, manufacturing, and repair and upgrade. We’ve even produced a number of military training programmes. Our customer base spans more than 30 countries worldwide. And we currently employ around 10,500 people.
A vacancy exists within the Typhoon Weapon System Support (WSS) team for a Engineering Process Specialist. As part of the WSS Team, the engineering process specialists will be required to design & develop the applicable processes to support WSS in the development of the future Weapon System Support capabilities in order to 'Keep Typhoon Flying', according to BAESYSTEMS in-service support strategies.

The role will involve the support tasks associated with process development & improvement, requiring specialisms in Configuration Management, Requirements Management, Change Management, Engineering Maturity, Engineering Integration and Qualification & Certification. The incumbent will also be responsible for the provision of expertise to assist in the development of National & International Weapon System Support including effective integration within the end to end support solution for Typhoon in a Partnered environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with the UK MoD customer within the WSS work stream to ensure a partnered support solutions for in-service support of Typhoon in line with UK customer affordability based contracting strategies. This will include the definition of BAESYSTEMS service and capabilities to be included.
