Part of a well regarded plc, this business designs and manufactures a range of high performance, technology-led products. They supply to a global customer base across the military, emergency services and engineering product sectors. Possessing world class manufacturing facilities they have established a reputation for high quality products, excellent customer service and innovative engineering solutions. They have recently launched a number of new products which have given the business an excellent platform for future growth. As a result they wish to appoint a first class Sales Director to help formulate a strategic plan and deliver profitable growth in all regions outside the US.
The Role:
• Reporting to the Divisional MD, with direct exposure to the plc board, responsible for all product sales activity in the UK, Europe and Rest of the World.
• Develop an ongoing strategy to enable the delivery of profitable sales growth from existing customers as well as through the creation of an effective network of agents and distributors.
• Proactively lead, manage, and mentor the existing sales team and provide the necessary support and development of the back office staff.
The Candidate:
• Commercially astute, senior-level, sales professional with a track record of international success gained, ideally, in the military, emergency services or engineered product sectors.
• Able to influence and develop effective key relationships, at all levels, globally.
• Engaging and personable, a strong networker who has achieved success personally, and through challenging and empowering teams.
