The "As You Were" range of books, 1946 to 1950
These books contain input about all 3 Services and cover all eras of Australia's military history.
"As you were" is a command used in the Services to indicate that the person or group should go back to what they were doing. For example when an Officer enters a class room everyone "stands fast" (gets up and stands to "attention"). The Officer will issue the command "as you were" and everyone sits.		Sub category Index

The "As You Were" series replaced the idea of a book each year for each of the 3 Services with 1 book per year to cover the whole subject. Therefore all books carry input from all 3 Services.

The other major change was to start to introduce military history items from other eras, not just WW2. The contributors were still WW2 service personnel but the subject range broadened.
