City Hall is home to the Mayor of London, the London Assembly and the GLA, who in July 2002 became tenants of this striking rounded glass building on the south bank of the Thames near Tower Bridge. Members of the public may visit parts of City Hall Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm and on occasional weekends.

Christmas/New Year opening times
On Friday 21 December 2007 City Hall will be open to the public from 8am to 4pm, then will be closed for Christmas until Thursday 27 December. The building will be open to the public from 8am to 5pm on Thursday 27 and Friday 28 December and from 8am to 4pm on Monday 31 December. Normal opening hours (8am to 8pm) resume on Tuesday 2 January 2008.
