David Canary was born in Elwood, Ind., and raised in Massillon, Ohio. He attended the University of Cincinnati on a football scholarship and graduated as a music major with a specialization in voice as part of a unique program that included study at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music.

Born the third of seven children, Daniel Cosgrove did not catch the acting bug until he was an adult. Painfully shy as a child and adolescent, Cosgrove excelled at sports, not public speaking, at his all-boys Catholic high school. He spent three semesters at a small Catholic college before taking time off. During that break, he became a bailiff at a local court.

Martha Madison knew that she wanted to entertain from a very young age. When she was only 6, she began performing at the Actors' Theatre of Houston. She also took dance classes, and throughout high school was part of the dance team.
After graduating, Madison attended Texas A&M University, where she was the captain for the dance team.

Erika Slezak comes from a long line of established actors. Her father is the late Walter Slezak, who starred in numerous films and on Broadway. During his career, Walter won a Tony award for his performance in the hit Fanny. The legacy doesn't end there: Slezak's grandfather, Leo Slezak, was an acclaimed opera singer.

Susan Flannery was raised in New York City in a brownstone on East 51st Street. Flannery knew she wanted to be an actress from a young age, and she went on to receive her BFA in theater at Stevens College in Missouri, as well as attended graduate school before venturing out to Hollywood.

Raised just outside of Dallas, Texas boy Josh Duhon attended Collin Community College and Southern Methodist University. In his spare time, he enjoys boxing, true to his character Logan's bad boy image, and has been known to ride motorcycles.

Born in Grand Rapids, MI, and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Jess Walton left home when she was only 17 to join the Toronto Workshop Productions' Repertory Theater. Five years later, in 1969, she moved to Hollywood, where she dated a rock 'n' roll manager and auditioned for film and TV roles.

Alicia Minshew knew she wanted to act from an early age. "I was always putting on shows for my family," she recalls. She began doing some serious acting in high school, which led her to receive a musical theatre scholarship to Indian River College.
