Taylor opened a bottle of wine for Nick at dinner, and the two kissed. Over dinner, Nick and Taylor agreed to set a date for baby Jack's christening. Taylor said she doesn't feel comfortable choosing Bridget as the godmother after what happened with the egg mix-up. She started to angrily rehash the egg mix-up drama. Nick asked her to drop it, but he then admitted that Brooke didn't have her eggs harvested for medical research, but to see if she could give Nick the child that Taylor couldn't. Taylor flipped out. When Nick tried to calm her down and tell her it doesn't matter, Taylor only flipped out even more. "It makes me sick," Taylor declared, and accused Brooke of having Bridget intentionally switch the eggs. "I hate her," Taylor screamed of Brooke as she pounded on the table, having a meltdown. Nick quietly approached Taylor and tried to reassure her that this is "our home, our marriage, our son, and I am your husband. My life would mean nothing without you in it," Nick assured.
Donna tearfully left before Storm and Katie returned to the room. Once they arrived, Storm and Katie asked Brooke where Donna and Stephanie went. Brooke told them that she thinks Stephanie is going to take care of things for them, and neither Stephen nor Storm will have anything to worry about. After Storm left Katie pressed Brooke for answers. Brooke told Katie about the details of Stephanie's offer. Katie said there's no "decision" for Donna to make — she has to comply and free Stephen ASAP.
An upset Donna visited Stephen in jail. Stephen told her that she shouldn't have to choose between him and Eric, and vowed to not let Stephanie get away with putting Donna in such a despicable predicament. Donna warned that that Stephanie could still always renege on her deal and get them all in trouble for obstruction of justice charges. Donna said she couldn't let her brother go to jail, but she couldn't give up on Eric. "Daddy, what do I do?" Donna cried. "Do what your heart tells you, there is no right or wrong, and remember I love you," Stephen advised before he was taken back to his cell.
Felicia asked Stephanie how she could be so calm after Eric handed her divorce papers. Stephanie confidently declared that she has no intention of losing Eric. Felicia broke the news to Stephanie that Eric proposed to Donna, but Stephanie remained unfazed. A curious Felicia asked Stephanie what she was up to. Stephanie hedged and cryptically said she expects Donna will "do the right thing for everybody." Donna phoned Stephanie and told her she was on her way over. When Donna arrived she dressed down Stephanie for "sucking the very soul" out of Eric, and pointed out how she brought him "back to life." "You can take your quid pro quo and shove it," Donna continued, rejecting Stephanie's offer.

"No deal!" Donna seethed to Stephanie, who warned that Storm will go to prison for a very long time if she doesn't dump Eric. When Donna refused to back down, Stephanie called her bluff by reaching for the phone to drop a dime on Storm to Lt. Baker. Donna told her to drop the phone, and both women sharpened their claws and verbally scratched at each other over Eric.
Nick did his best to calm down Taylor, but the harder he tried the more wound up she got about Brooke's attempts to get Nick back. "Brooke wants to take everything from me, and I can't lose (to her) anymore!" Taylor screamed. Nick asked how Taylor would help one of her patients with similar problems. Calming down, she said she'd tell them to identify their emotions and express them. Nick urged her to do exactly that. Taylor began ranting about Brooke, screaming at the top of her lungs for Brooke to leave her and her family alone. "It's not helping," Taylor eventually told Nick, insisting she was emotionally spent. Nick reassured her that they are a team. When baby Jack started crying, Taylor told Nick to go ahead and tend to the baby himself. Meanwhile, she took a hard look at Nick's glass of wine on the table. When he returned Taylor had collected herself, and she declared that she was feeling better. "Our baby is a blessing," Taylor offered, and Nick proudly embraced his wife.
An upbeat Eric asked Brooke if Donna told her he proposed to her. Brooke did a poor job of concealing her reaction, but insisted to Eric that she doesn't disapprove. Eric started to muse about wedding plans, as Brooke felt more and more guilty. Brooke tried to tactfully suggest that Eric and Donna take things slow. Eric called Donna on her cell and invited her to spend the weekend with him at Big Bear. Donna, who was in the midst of her argument with Stephanie, happily accepted his invite. After hanging up the phone Donna told Stephanie she won't give up Eric. "I love him." "Eric is not your family," Stephanie countered, and reminded Donna about how much Storm means to her and how she's the only one who can save him. "All right!" Donna yelled, at last caving to Stephanie's indecent proposal, as each woman solemnly agreed to live up to her own end of their sordid bargain.

Brooke was horrified that Donna even considered choosing Eric over the fates of their father and brother. Donna told her that while she'd fought it at first, she had ultimately caved in to Stephanie's demands. Donna and Brooke agreed not to let Storm know what they had done. Donna realized she couldn't tell Storm or Eric the truth about what Stephanie had done. She lamented giving up "the man I love." Brooke assured Donna there would be another man. "Not like Eric," Donna sobbed. Soon, she pulled herself together and headed out to break up with Eric. Storm wanted to talk to Stephanie directly, but Brooke begged him not to. "Everything is under control," Brooke promised. "She's made a deal. She'll tell the police Dad didn't do it." Storm wasn't convinced. Brooke also claimed that Eric and Donna had hit a rough patch. Storm was sorry to hear that. "She really loves him," he noted. "This is my fault. I should fix it," a guilty Storm said. Brooke assured him they would take care of it. Then she practically insisted he get some therapy, alluding to his anger issues.
Katie paid Stephanie a visit. "You are a Logan. You are either here to berate me or ask me for something," Stephanie quipped. Katie was there to thank her for the deal she made with Donna, and she wondered if Donna would make the right decision and chose family over love. She apologized for Storm for what he had done to Stephanie. "I'm giving your family a fresh start...just leave my family alone," Stephanie replied. Katie thought it was a little odd that Stephanie hadn't heard from Donna or Eric yet. Stephanie was certain Eric would come back to her. Katie wondered what Eric would do if he found out that Stephanie was blackmailing Donna. Stephanie was sure that wouldn't happen.
At the cabin, Eric made sure everything was perfect for a night with Donna.
"I want to make sure this is a night she'll never forget," he enthused. Donna arrived, and Eric immediately gave her a mug of mulled wine. "It's all too perfect," an uncomfortable Donna said. Eric insisted she open her present. As they hugged, Donna's eyes filled with tears as she thought of what she'd have to do to him to save her family. Eric kept saying wonderful things to her. "I've changed my mind. I want our wedding to be the biggest celebration anyone has ever seen," he went on. He then got on his knees and proposed — again — and gave her a HUGE engagement ring. Donna almost fainted as he put the ring on her finger. "No don't," she protested. "Please don't. I can't. You can't." Eric didn't care what Stephanie or anyone else would think. "I love you and I want the world to know it," he declared. Eric put the ring on her finger. Donna managed a smile but Stephanie's words repeated in her head. Donna pulled away. "Something's wrong and I want to know what it is right now," Eric insisted.

At the police station, Stephanie told Lt. Baker and Charlie that she's been having memory flashes which confirm her that Stephen was not her shooter. Lt. Baker and Charlie expressed their skepticism. Stephanie pressed on, and suggested that they give Stephen a lie detector test to corroborate her new memories. Lt. Baker consulted with the D.A. and released Stephen. Stephen had an emotional reunion with Brooke as he left the police station. He promised to be a father to Brooke and her siblings, and Brooke told Stephen she loved him as they hugged. They returned to Brooke's place. Stephanie called Brooke and reminded her it's time for she and Donna to live up to their end of the bargain. Brooke assured Stephanie they would, even though it will be at Eric and Donna's expense. Stephanie insisted Eric and Donna's relationship would never last anyway, so no harm done. Stephen lamented to Brooke about the terrible price Donna has to pay for Stephen and Storm. Brooke reassured Stephen that Donna is stronger than he realizes.
At the cabin, Eric asked Donna why she was upset. She tried to tell him that she'll blow this because she hurts everyone she's involved with and doesn't want to risk hurting him. Eric said there had to be something else that was wrong. Donna fumbled for an explanation, and finally told Eric she's been diagnosed with something: "I'm a sex addict." Eric was taken aback, and asked Donna why she never told him before. Donna said she thought she could control it but realized she can't. Eric suggested that professional help is available for this, but Donna said she's beyond help and refused to drag him "into the depth of her sordid life. The closer we get, the worse it's going to be. Just accept that this relationship is over. It just has to be," Donna tearfully insisted. Eric pledged to stick by Donna and get her whatever help she needs. "We will get through this together," Eric dutifully declared, as he kissed her on the forehead. Donna tried to tell Eric she's not worth it, but Eric wouldn't take no for an answer. "You ARE going to be my wife." Their conversation was interrupted by Donna's cell phone ringing. She took the call outside "to get better reception." Stephanie was calling, demanding to know if she had broken up with Eric. Donna said she tried but Eric wouldn't listen. Donna begged her to reconsider, but Stephanie threatened to call the police and get her father and brother locked up if she didn't comply. Donna broke down and promised she would live up to her end of their bargain, then returned to Eric in tears.

Stephanie was surprised by a visit from Bridget. She told Bridget she has to go to Chicago to tend to her mother because she is ill. Bridget was concerned about her traveling and was going to call her medical colleagues in Chicago to continue Stephanie's care there. Bridget asked Stephanie how she could now remember that her grandfather Stephen wasn't her shooter. Stephanie fumbled to explain but insisted that it definitely wasn't Stephen. Bridget wondered who could have set him up, and said she remembered learning about traumatic memory loss in med school and that it should only be a matter of time until Stephanie can recall who actually shot her.
At Brooke's, Storm announced that all charges against Stephen have been dropped. Stephen apologized to his family for not being there for them before but pledged that things will now be different, and encouraged everyone to rejoice that they're now a family again. Stephen declared his intention to return to Europe with Storm, and promised to get Storm all the professional help he needs. Donna's cell phone went off and she took the call outside. Stephanie was calling to pester Donna to end things with Eric ASAP. Donna hung up quickly. While Storm took his and Stephen's bags outside, Donna broke down to her sisters and father about Stephanie's threats. They offered their support as she went ahead with their deal to keep Storm out of prison. Stephen and Storm left for the airport. While Donna was home alone, Stephanie paid her a visit and again demanded that Donna break up with Eric immediately. She insisted she tried, but Eric wouldn't take "No" for an answer. Stephanie was annoyed when Donna revealed that Eric pledged to stick by her even after she lied about having an addiction problem. She flipped out and told Donna that she better have ended things with Eric by the time she returns from Chicago, or else Storm will go to prison.
Nick ruffled Taylor's feathers when he told her about Brooke's father getting released. Taylor was annoyed that Nick would utter the word "Brooke" to her, especially first thing in the morning. Jackie dropped by in middle of their argument. Nick asked her to please give notice before she barges in next time. Jackie made herself scarce by going upstairs to visit with her grandson. Nick invited to take Taylor out for breakfast but Taylor blew him off. Nick went off to Insomnia for coffee by himself, where he ran into Brooke. Brooke joined him for coffee. Meanwhile, Jackie convinced Taylor to reconsider and go join Nick at Insomnia after all. Nick told Brooke that Taylor can't get over Brooke being Jack's biological mother, and he asked Brooke to stay away from Taylor. Brooke encouraged Nick to tell his mother about the situation for further support. Brooke grabbed Nick by the hand and suggested that Taylor might need professional help, just as Taylor walked in. Taylor spotted them holding hands just as Nick suggested that it would be "very ugly" if Taylor saw them like this. (Ya think??!!)
