On Main Street, an angry and intoxicated Coop lit the Main Street blueprints and threw them into the Lewis trailer. Coop was unaware Bill was in the trailer, and when the flames caused an explosion, Lizzie rushed in to help Bill. As Bill struggled to stay conscious, Lizzie called Billy to tell him there'd been an accident.
Later, Coop sat on a bench downing more booze, and Ava sat down to chat with him. Coop told her that Ashlee admitted to fixing the election, and Ava asked if she could help. Coop said he knew Ava couldn't care less about Ashlee. Ava soon got a call saying there had been an accident at the Lewis construction site. She added that Bill was being rushed to the hospital. Coop was shocked to hear that Bill was inside the trailer. When Ava noticed his expression, she asked him if he'd set the fire. Coop said he had to go talk to Frank, but Ava told him he couldn't admit to starting the fire because everyone would think he did it on purpose to hurt Bill.
At the hospital, Lizzie sat at Bill's bedside and apologized for locking him out in his underwear. "If I hadn't done that, you wouldn't be here," she sighed. Later, Billy came in and poured his heart out to his son. He told Bill he wished he had slowed down and listened to his advice. "I hate seeing you filled with hurt and anger," Billy said through tears.
Back at the Beacon, Ava poured a glass of wine for Coop and added medication to it while he wasn't looking. "I want to help you. Trust me," Ava cooed as she handed him the glass. Coop put the wine down, saying he couldn't make good decisions while he was intoxicated. Ava tried to persuade Coop to stay and drink, but he resisted. "We'd probably end up back on the bed, and I don't want to screw my life up any more than it is," Coop lamented before he walked out the door. Instead, he went to the police station to see Ashlee, and spoke with her for a few moments before they took her away.
Meanwhile, Josh told a startled Cassie that Edmund finally woke up to name his pusher — Will! Cassie's stared at josh in disbelief. "I don't follow why you are so eager to pin this on my son," she whined. Josh reminded Cassie how calm Will was when he heard Edmund fell. Cassie claimed Will was shocked, but Josh pointed out Will's pattern of bad behavior, including accusing RJ of locking him in the barn. While they argued, Josh got a call from Billy asking him to go to the hospital to check on Bill since he'd been hurt in the trailer explosion. Cassie told Josh he should go, and Will came downstairs begging to go with him. Cassie and Will went to the hospital with Josh, and when they got there, Lizzie told Vanessa, Reva and Josh what happened. Billy pulled Lizzie to the side and told her he thought someone might have purposely attacked Bill since he'd made so many enemies.
Later, Josh spoke with Reva in private and told her Edmund woke up and said that Will pushed him. Josh said he believed Edmund, but Cassie was in denial. Once back at home, Will used a voice distortion device to call the police and report Reva for suspicious activity. After Will's call, Mallet went to the hospital to search Reva. To Reva's surprise, he found Edmund's missing button in her bag.

At the hospital, Olivia ran into Alan, who told her Bill had been hurt in an explosion at the Lewis site. Olivia was shocked to hear the news, and Alan asked her if she was okay. He was concerned because he'd overheard her conversation with the doctor. Olivia said she was fine, and asked Alan if he had gotten Natalia away from Gus yet.
When Olivia returned home, Gus stopped by to see her and asked how her doctor appointment went. Olivia said her heart was getting weaker, but she was maintaining good spirits. She mentioned she'd had a bad dream about Phillip, and how she worried about being able to keep Emma safe if something happened to her. Gus then offered to raise Emma as his daughter if something did happen.
Later, Natalia showed up, and Gus introduced her to Emma. While Natalia helped Emma with her Spanish homework, Olivia observed them and began to get light-headed. Olivia fainted, and while Gus tried to revive her, Natalia looked on suspiciously. Alan had also arrived, and when Olivia woke up, Alan suggested they all leave so Olivia could get some air. Olivia asked Gus to stay behind, and Natalia went off, saying she knew Olivia was faking. Gus asked Natalia to calm down, but she was too angry. When Gus and Natalia left, Alan applauded Olivia's "performance."
At Company, Daisy thanked Frank for helping her with her car trouble. Later, Rafe stopped by and picked a fight with Daisy. Frank and Buzz asked him why he started the fight, and Rafe said he planned to try to get back together with Daisy, but he got nervous. Buzz and Frank sat down with Rafe and offered him a little advice on women.
At home, Will tried his best to convince Cassie he was a victim of Josh's unfair treatment. "How come Josh hates me and loves RJ?" Will asked in a pitiful voice. Cassie assured Will that Josh didn't hate him, but Will insisted that Josh treated other people better. When Cassie asked who, Will conveniently mentioned Reva.
Meanwhile, Mallet named Reva as the prime suspect in Edmund's attempted murder after finding Edmund's button in her bag. "I must have been set up," Reva protested. Mallet told Reva she needed to go to the police station to answer more questions, and Josh went with her.
Once at the station, Josh told Mallet he wouldn't let Reva answer any questions until she had an attorney present. Mallet agreed. When Jeffrey showed up, he told Reva they should tell Mallet she'd been under a lot of stress lately dealing with the anniversary of losing Jonathan and Sarah. Reva was offended that Jeffrey thought she was guilty. They began to argue, and Reva finally told Jeffrey she didn't need his help, so he walked away.
When Josh returned home from the station, he told Cassie Reva had been taken down in for questioning, and that they had to get Will to confess so Reva wouldn't go down for something she didn't do. Cassie was furious with Josh for suggesting Will could do something so awful. "I can't believe you would sacrifice my son for your ex-wife," she screamed. Later, Josh saw Will and RJ playing on Main Street, and he thought Will was attacking RJ. Will said they were just playing. When they all returned home, Will told Cassie what happened and that he wanted to leave before Josh sent him away. Since Cassie was still in denial, Josh called Reva, and they tried to figure out a way to get Will to confess.

Cassie and Josh continued to argue about Will. Cassie refused to discuss it further and walked away, leaving Josh alone. When Josh heard RJ scream, he rushed into the house thinking Will was hurting him. When he saw RJ was watching a game on TV, Cassie accused him of overreacting. She also accused Josh of wanting something to be wrong with Will so he could "save" him. Josh said he wished Will was fine, but he couldn't ignore the signs. "I don't want you to ever bring this up again," Cassie demanded. She added that even if Will was guilty, she would defend him until the day she died.
When Cassie left to take RJ to practice, Josh called Reva and told her he was ready to put their plan into action. Moments later, Josh and Will headed to the Beacon to meet Reva, who asked Will to draw her a picture so she and Josh could talk. Josh told Reva he'd made an appointment with a representative from a school for troubled children. Reva was worried that Cassie would be furious with Josh for setting up the appointment behind her back. Josh said he had to go through with it, so the three of them went to Company for the meeting.
At Company, Josh and Reva pretended to be Will's parents. They introduced Will to the school representative, but he said nothing, gave her a cold look and walked away. While Josh and Reva chatted, Will called Daisy and asked her to come get him. When Josh and Reva realized Will had disappeared, they went to Main Street and found Daisy. She told them she'd picked Will up, and that he'd stolen her keys and ran off. When Reva asked Daisy why she'd locked her in the mall with Josh, Daisy admitted that Will did it and she was covering for him. Josh asked Daisy to send Will a text from her phone telling him to meet her at the church.
When Will arrived at the church, Josh and Reva confronted him about what happened the night Edmund fell. Will tried to run away, but Josh told him they loved him and wanted to help. "He said he was going to hurt my mom and I couldn't let him do that," Will blurted out. They told him it would be okay, and soon after his confession, Cassie and Jeffrey came into the sanctuary. Will ran crying into Cassie's arms, and Cassie yelled at Josh for interrogating her son without telling her.
When Jeffrey took Will down to the police station with Reva, Cassie and Josh began fighting again. Josh tried to reason with her, but she wouldn't listen. He told her he'd found a school for troubled children for Will to attend, and Cassie was angry that Reva was with Josh when he met the woman from the school.
After Reva left the police station, she and Josh sat down and discussed what they thought about Will's confession. Josh said he had hoped that Cassie would finally understand, but she still didn't. He added that he didn't buy that Will pushed Edmund by accident.
After Mallet had it on record that Will pushed Edmund in self-defense, Cassie took Will home and gave him cookies. While they sat on the couch, she told Will she wasn't mad at him because she knew he didn't push Edmund on purpose. "It wasn't an accident, Mommy," Will said. "I'm glad Edmund's gone. I wanted him to fall." After his real confession Will ran upstairs, leaving Cassie in shock.

Cyrus and Harley traded awkward greetings in the Lewis trailer while Frank gave Marina back her badge and gun and reinstated her on the force. Cyrus and Harley admitted they were both poking around for leads on their own. They also both suspected a Cooper of going pyro. Of course, it was the fire between them that was really burning. Marina's arrival provided the necessary cold water. She told Harley she suspected Phillip was behind the blaze. Harley automatically called to check on Zach. Later, Marina and Cyrus returned home and discussed her whole Phillip suspicion. "Let's set a trap and let Phillip come to us," suggested Cyrus. At Cedars, Harley (with Zach in tow) filled Rick in on Marina's suspicions and then told him about her panic attacks, writing them off as "asthma." Rick gave her a referral. Marina and Cyrus then presented Harley with his plan to "smoke Phillip out." Cyrus actually stepped in front of Marina, effectively excluding her from the convo — and you can bet she noticed!
In Bill's room, Lizzie and Billy held vigil and Officer Tobias came to take Billy back to rehab. Despite the fact that Bill's bandages were coming off later, Billy had to go. Bill woke up confused, and Lizzie tenderly filled him in. They then bantered about Lizzie shaving him bald while he was out.
It was all very cute. Then Marina came by on official police business. Bill told Marina a flaming blueprint tube had caused the big boom. Rick arrived to join in the Bill/Lizzie banter and to remove Bill's mummy-ish head wrap.
Amidst catcalls and whistles from Lillian and Lizzie, Bill opened his eyes...and saw nothing. Ouch. Later, Lizzie helped an emotional Bill with her mp3 player. All he wanted was a nap before the "eye guy" showed up. He kicked everyone out so he could angst privately. Lizzie rushed back in when he threw her mp3 player across the room. He wanted to go AWOL, so Lizzie offered her services as a seeing eye dog. "The blonde leading the blind," cracked Bill. So, where were they going? To rehab! An overcome Billy was so glad to see his boy. Too bad Bill couldn't say the same. Luckily, all he wanted was revenge.
Buzz popped by Cedars and told Lillian that Bill had been blackmailing him.
Luckily, this didn't put a crimp in their fledgling romance. Coop, who smelled like a brewery, showed up at the station and told Frank, "I did something." He quickly backtracked and didn't admit to burning the trailer.
Frank sent him home to take a cold shower. Buzz went to see Billy in rehab and revealed the explosion wasn't an accident. Billy accused him of gloating, and their relationship totally went back to a fighting-over-Nadine hate level. On Main Street, Coop snagged coffee from Ava and asked her to steal money from Spaulding so he could spring Ashlee. Later, Coop returned to tell a giddy Ashlee he'd bailed her out. "Did you win the lottery when I was locked up?" she wondered. He said he'd used leftover campaign contributions. Yes, that's illegal. (Arson is a gateway to further crime, people!) At Company, Buzz told them that Billy thought he'd caused Bill's plight. Coop looked miiiighty guilty. Back at rehab, Vanessa and Billy wondered how to help their son. After Buzz left, Coop confessed to Ashlee that he'd caused the trailer explosion. "So, we're both criminals!" Ashlee marveled.
Elsewhere, Lillian comforted Buzz.

Cassie apologized to Josh for not allowing him to sleep at home. She then admitted he was right about Will. Josh asked what changed her mind, and she told him Will admitted to wanting Edmund to fall. "Promise me we're going to save my little boy," she cried. Josh was relieved she finally understood what was going on. Cassie said she felt guilty for thinking ill of her son because she'd sent him away in the first place. When Josh left to talk to Jeffrey, Cassie became frightened when she saw Will pick up a sharp pair of scissors. Cassie took the scissors away, and Will suggested he and RJ play in the barn. Cassie was nervous to leave RJ alone with Will, so she asked them to stay inside. Annoyed, Will stormed off to the barn alone. Cassie then apologized to RJ for not believing him when he said he didn't lock Will in the barn. She told RJ to tell her if anything else strange happened.
On Main Street, Harley, Cyrus and Marina discussed the Phillip case. Harley and Cyrus agreed on a plan to catch Phillip, but Marina thought it was all a bad idea. Harley pressed on, telling Marina she needed her life back and she couldn't handle any more attacks. Later, Marina asked Remy to meet her at the Beacon. When he arrived and saw Cyrus, Remy wanted to leave. Marina asked him to stick around so they could talk. Cyrus thought Remy was there to give them tips on Phillip, but Marina pulled Remy to the side to talk about her plan to separate Cyrus and Harley. She admitted she suggested that Phillip blew up the Lewis trailer so Harley would freak out and separate herself from Cyrus.
Meanwhile, Harley tried to convince Beth to join her plan to catch Phillip.
Beth was hesitant at first because she didn't think Phillip was capable of hurting anyone. Harley finally convinced her, however, and after she left Towers to pick up Zach, she discovered he was already gone. Harley lost it, thinking Phillip had picked Zach up. When she caught up with Cyrus, she told him Zach was missing. Soon after, Harley talked to Zach and he reminded her that he'd gone home with a new friend. Harley was relieved, and she and Cyrus shared a laugh. She stressed her need to calm down, and Cyrus claimed she needed to learn how to let go and lose control. Harley admitted she missed Gus, but she also admitted she never needed Gus as much as she needed Cyrus. With that, Cyrus leaned in and kissed Harley passionately.
At the station, Jeffrey and Josh discussed how to handle Will's case.
Jeffrey said they'd set it up so that everyone knew Will pushed Edmund in defense. Josh was hesitant, sharing that Will admitted to Cassie that he wanted Edmund to fall. Jeffrey hated to put a child through the justice system over Edmund, but now they would have to go after Will. When Josh returned home, he again suggested they get Will into a school that could help him deal with his issues. Cassie thought sending Will away would be like abandoning him again, but Josh said it was the only way Cassie would be able to get her son back to normal. Later, Josh got a call from Jeffrey asking him to come back down to the station and take a look at something. When Josh arrived, Jeffrey told him the security DVD from Renewal clinic showed that Will murdered Alonzo. While Josh was at the station, Cassie packed a few bags and took Will up to the Bauer cabin. She told Will they couldn't leave until she got to the bottom of why he wanted to hurt Edmund.
