EMMYS
Q: What were the four songs played at the 2005 Daytime Emmys during the Drama Series montages (ALL MY CHILDREN, GENERAL HOSPITAL, AS THE WORLD TURNS, YOUNG AND RESTLESS)?
K.W., via the Internet

A: For AMC, it was Evanescence's "Bring Me To Life," available on their CD, Fallen. ATWT used "Lonely No More," from Rob Thomas's Something To Be. GH chose Mozart — his "Requiem in D Minor," to be exact. Y&R went with "Battle Flag," from the Lo Fidelity Allstars's CD, How To Operate With A Blown Mind.

Greenlee and Ryan (Rebecca Budig and Cameron Mathison)
— ABC

ALL MY CHILDREN
Q: I'm a big fan of AMC, but I know nothing about music. On the 10/6/04 episode, Ryan and Greenlee made love to a song that I'm sure I've heard before, but I can't place the singer. Could you refresh my memory?
P.R., via the Internet

A: That was Jessica Simpson's "Sweetest Sin" from her CD, In This Skin.

Q: On the 9/1/04 episode of AMC, there was a song playing while Kendall was on the beach dreaming that she was dancing with Ryan and reminiscing. Some of the lyrics were "I dream for a reason and my reason is I miss you...." Who is the artist and/or group and song name? Is it available on CD? Please help me so that I do not have to bring my video around to sales people at every music store.
D.W., via the Internet

A: Not to worry! We received a deluge of letters about that song, which is called "I Dream." It's by Trisha O'Keefe, from her CD All the Honest Liars. Buy it at www.cdbaby.com.

And since we've gotten several letters about other songs on that episode: the music played when Holden carried Lily out of the church was Evanescence's "My Immortal," from Fallen. When Lily was alone in the bathroom, you heard "World Without You" from Beth Hart's Leave The Light On.
