in 1931. This historic document was printed by the Western Banknote Company and has an
ornate border around it with a vignette of an allegorical women infront of a globe. This item is hand signed by the Company’s President and Secretary and is
over 70 years old.
Certificate Vignette
The Stark Electric Railroad Company was an Interurban line connecting Canton-Alliance-Salem. The line was completed in 1904 and was abandoned in 1937.
The Interurban railway service was replaced by bus service operated by Stark Transit, Inc.
