| | | Ruby Copper Company - Arizona 1913 | Beautifully engraved certificate from the Ruby Copper Company issued in 1913. This historic document has an
ornate border around it with a vignette of mill at water's edge, flanked by two smaller vignettes of men working in mines. This item has the signatures of the Company's President, H.A. Sutermeister and Secretary, C.E. Scully and is over 93 years old.
Certificate Vignette
Owned the Lee Group of 9 claims in Santa Cruz County, located 10 miles north of Patagonia. Minerals are chalcopyrite and copper glance, producing copper and silver. The mine has a 400' shaft. The term ruby copper probably refers to cuprite. (Mines Hndbk, 1914, p.772)
