in 1933. This historic document has an
ornate border around it with a vignette of an eagle. This item is hand signed by the Company’s President ( George Hilgerman ) and Secretary and is
over 69 years old.
The Rhinelander Brewing Company of Rhinelander, Wisconsin, was founded in 1882, and closed down during prohibition. It reopened in 1933 and issued this stock certificate for 23,700 shares to George Hilgerman who was the president.
The company was sucessful through the early 1960's. In 1967, the company closed and Huber purchased their line.
